Current COTA license in California.
Minimum 1 year of pediatric experience or pediatric fieldwork is preferred, with mentorship and training provided.
Experience with infants and toddlers, particularly in feeding difficulties, preferred.
Strong communication skills and the ability to connect with patients and their families.
Capability to work both independently and collaboratively.
Bilingual in Spanish and English is a plus.
In-Home Patient Care: Deliver direct care to early intervention clients aged birth to 3 years under the guidance of a Licensed Occupational Therapist. Our service area includes the San Gabriel Valley, covering cities like Walnut, West Covina, El Monte, Pomona, and more. A valid driver's license and reliable transportation are required.
Treatment Plan Support: Collaborate in the crafting and execution of personalized treatment plans tailored to each child's needs.
Therapeutic Interventions: Conduct therapeutic exercises and engaging activities aimed at enhancing motor, adaptive, and feeding skills, as well as overall functional abilities.
Progress Monitoring: Regularly assess and document the progress of patients, making necessary adjustments to treatment plans to ensure optimal outcomes.
Family Education: Provide education and support to families, equipping them with therapeutic strategies and exercises to continue their child's development at home.
Collaborative Care: Work closely with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to deliver integrated and comprehensive care to our clients.
Record Keeping: Ensure all patient records are meticulously maintained, reflecting the latest treatment plans, progress notes, and therapeutic interventions.

Family Education: Act as a coach to empower family members with knowledge and strategies for effectively supporting their child's development and well-being outside of therapy sessions.
Documentation: Diligently document each child's progress, growth, and development, ensuring patient records are thorough, accurate, and up-to-date. Submit detailed progress notes and reports as required to track and communicate developmental milestones and improvements.
