Little Hands Club is a short-term, intensive handwriting readiness program for emerging writers entering kindergarten. It is designed to help children build early writing skills, confidence, and readiness for the classroom in a small, supportive group setting.
Ages: 4-6 years old
Need extra support with pre-writing or early writing skills
Have difficulty forming letters or writing their name
Struggle with pencil grasp, posture, or control
Avoid drawing or writing tasks
Benefit from a small group with individualized support
Age-appropriate pencil grasp
Prewriting and letter formation (upper & lowercase)
Visual motor and visual perceptual skills
Fine motor coordination and hand strength
Attention, regulation, and participation in writing tasks
Using school materials (scissors, glue, etc.)
This group is a back-to-school program and takes place during the summer months:
Date: July 14- August 6, 2026
Time: 1:00 PM - 2:00 PM, Tuesday and Thursday
Mode: 8 extended sessions (includes progress report and parent meeting)
The first session includes an informal assessment and baseline writing sample to understand your child’s current skills and readiness.
$720 for 8 sessions (Includes assessment, materials, and feedback meeting).

After the final session, families meet with their child’s OT on Zoom to review progress and discuss recommendations for next steps. Some children are ready to carry skills into the classroom, while others may benefit from additional support or check-ins.
